I figured I'd give an update on how Frosted is doing. She is the first foal I've ever tried to hand train.
She pretty much has halter, leading and standing tied down packed. Currently we are working on loading in the trailer. (And that's with just 2 months of training) I am really proud of her and I am excited to watch her grow up.

She is really looking fabulous! Are you pasturing her at night? I had quit for a while, but it really seems to help with their energy level so I am back to doing it again.
ReplyDeleteYep I pasture at night and yeah, it does seem to help. I usually pasture the sucklings, weanlings, yearlings and 2 year olds.
DeleteI love how much trainability your horses seem to pass on Stormy. They really are superstars in the training arena and the show ring.
